(Limited One Year Warranty)
 

Installation of New Garage Doors

 

*Customer Must Retain Invoice for Warranty claim to be valid.

 

For installation of a new garage door purchased through Executive Doors and Gates, this warranty covers defects in workmanship and labor furnished by Executive Doors and Gates as part of the installation of the new garage door for 90 days from the date of installation. The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the door and its parts. Executive Doors and Gates will correct any defective workmanship and the parts that are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Executive Doors and Gates will repair or replace that defective part, or parts if indicated, for one year from the installation date.

 

Garage Door Openers

 

For the installation of a new garage door opener purchased through Executive Doors and Gates, this warranty covers defects in workmanship. Labor furnished by Executive Doors and Gates as part of the installation of a new garage door opener will be for 90 days from the date of installation. The garage door opener manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the opener and its parts. Executive Doors and Gates will correct any defective workmanship and part(s) covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Executive Doors and Gates will repair or replace that defective part, or parts if indicated, for one year from the installation date.

Limited 30 Day Warranty (Craftsmanship)

Existing Garage Door Service, Labor and/or Repair

 

*Customer Must Retain Invoice for Warranty claim to be valid.

 

For a repair to an existing garage door, this warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for parts furnished by Executive Doors and Gates as a part of the repair. Executive Doors and Gates will repair, or if repair is not possible, replace any defective part or workmanship for parts furnished by Executive Doors and Gates as part of the repair at no charge for parts and/or materials 30 days from the date of repair.

Limited One Year Warranty

Residential Torsion Springs

 

*Customer Must Retain Invoice for Warranty claim to be valid.

 

For installation of a Residential Torsion Spring(s), this warranty covers defects in workmanship, for labor furnished by Executive Doors and Gates as part of the installation of Residential Torsion Springs for ONE year from the date of installation. Executive Doors and Gates will correct any defective workmanship and repair or replace that defective Residential Torsion Spring(s), at no charge for labor or parts for ONE year from the date of installation.

Other information you need to know.

How Long Coverage Lasts

 

This warranty begins when the original repairs or installation are complete. This warranty cannot be transferred. This warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door. 

 

What Is Not Covered

 

If anyone, other than Executive Doors and Gates, who performed the original service, works on any new or repaired part covered by this warranty, then that part and the labor to repair or replace that part is no longer covered under this warranty.

This Limited Warranty does not cover light bulbs, which are expendable parts or repair parts necessary because of operator abuse or negligence, including the failure to install, adjust and operate this garage door opener according to instructions contained in the owner’s manual.

 

This limited warranty also does not cover any problems caused by interference.

 

This limited warranty excludes:

 

  1.  Rust caused by damages or scratching.

  2.  Damage resulting from exposure to corrosive chemicals, corrosive fumes, salt environments including coastal areas, condensation, water, or fire.

  3.  Damages caused by accident, improper use, negligent operation, improper maintenance, or normal wear.

  4.  Shipping charges.

  5.  Defects in paints or coatings used to finish door sections.

  6.  Any product or component which is modified, altered, or not part of the original door.

  7.  Damages resulting from any circumstances beyond the direct control of seller.

  8.  Minor expansion and contraction gaps in overlay material on carriage house and fiberglass doors.

Legal Jargon!

This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than Executive Doors and Gates issuing this warranty. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property, because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not exclude or limit incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty does not cover doors in which the door cables are displaced, misaligned, or disconnected. This warranty does not cover problems caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, or Acts of God and does not cover commercial door installation or repair.
